Paul Oden Nyhus was born on April 18, 1894 in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin's College of Agriculture and served as County Agent in Waupaca County, Wisconsin and Crop Reporter in Madison, Wisconsin.
